Lion and Cheetah Project
Lion and Cheetah breeding has become necessary for several reasons. Although they
are not on the Endangered Species List, lions are falling prey to disease. In fact
many professionals predict that they could be listed within the next 15 years. Cheetahs,
on the other hand, are already on that list! As a result our great reserves, such
as the Kruger National Park, will soon need to restock with healthy animals for our
future generations to see.
There are also many new game farms in South Africa that would like to offer tourists
"Big 5" and Cheetah sightings. Lions are easily bred, but Cheetah offer more of a
challenge and you will have the opportunity of taking part in the rearing of these
powerful beasts as well as in the research that is happening to save these“Kings”
of the Bushveld.

South Africa is a land of sunshine, sea, vast plains and towering mountains, with big cities and very interesting people. We have been conducting Day Tours in and around Johannesburg, Pretoria and surrounding areas for the past 8 years. Our overland tours offer excitement, romance and adventure taking you to some of the most intriguing places in Africa. Our "Africatime" web page gives detailed descriptions of all the tours and transfers on offer.
Are you an animal lover who is concerned about the future of our planet’s wildlife?
Our Hands-On Holidays programs offer you an all inclusive or budget volunteering experience of a lifetime to learn more about what people are doing to protect precious species from human destruction. Travellers of all ages are invited on a truly wonderful holiday while interacting with wild animals in the heart of the bushveld or out on the deep blue sea. Some of the animals you may work with have been rescued from very unfortunate circumstances and some are providing for the future in breeding and research programs.
There’s more! Not only will your participation in our animal projects contribute to animal welfare but it will also benefit one of many poverty-stricken South Africans living in dire conditions and in desperate need of help. There are several charitable organizations spread across South Africa, that need financial help. There are also a lot of people who are not helped by those organizations who are also seriously in need of assistance. An example of this are those people who are desperate to get a good education or to give their children the means to secure their future. Education has become one of the most important factors in succeeding in life. This is where you come in. All you need to do is to take part in one of our amazing HANDS-ON HOLIDAYS!!!
By doing this you will be helping a family pay school fees or maybe buy school jerseys for their children.

Horse Rehabilitation Project
Everyone always thinks of our wild animals as being threatened.
They are not alone.
There are so many horses that need rescuing from terrible circumstances, particularly in the rural areas. Some are starving and need very careful feeding and exercise to bring them back to a normal existence. Others are cruelly treated.
People who are passionate about horses, or people who care for animals in general are invited to help out with the rehabilitation of these wonderful creatures.
Live in an authentic farm house, learn farm house cooking and enjoy the bushveld in Mpumalanga nearby the awesome Blyde River Canyon. There is lots to do in the area, so you will enjoy this worthwhile Hands-on Holiday.
